But did you know January is National Personal Self Defense Awareness Month.
AND the week of the 5th through the 11th Womens' Self-Empowerment Week.
But DON'T FORGET that today (at least in Ireland), it is Little Christmas..also called Womens' Christmas, a day on which women take the day off and go out to the pubs while their men stay home and tend to the usual womanly chores.
Oh... and in 1412, Joan of Arc was born.
So..burn your bra, have a beer, and if some jackass tells you to iron his shirt, kick him in the manberries.

In other non-calendar-related news, I'm getting my Little Christmas presents this week. I went on Amazon and ordered myself a new 50mm prime lens for my camera and also found a slightly used Lowepro shoulder camera bag for under twenty bucks. Both should arrive thursday. (Elvis-Day)
